CCSD93’s award-winning Early Childhood Center (ECC) offers a play-based, nurturing environment where 3- and 4-year-olds learn through exploration, develop independence, strengthen problem-solving skills, build confidence and practice positive group interactions.
Happy New Year! We hope you have had a wonderful winter break! We are so excited to see the students again on Tuesday, January 6! Our last week of school before break was a blast! We also selected our December Bulldogs of the Month. They are pictured below. Read on to find out more about what’s happening at Roy DeShane!
We are looking forward to a great week at Roy DeShane. This week, staff and students will be enjoying a Spirit Week. On Friday, students will have their classroom Winter Parties. We hope you and your family have a safe, fun and relaxing Winter Break.
At last night’s Board of Education meeting, the Board did not support the proposed boundary adjustments. As a result, no boundary changes will move forward for the 2026-27 school year.
CCSD93 will be hosting a program called Be Seen and Heard©, a child sexual abuse prevention program for all students. It is designed to create an age-appropriate, safe and engaging environment where students will learn about the difference between safe and unsafe touch, the difference between safe and unsafe secrets and the importance of speaking up to trusted heroes and adults.
We hope you had a restful and enjoyable Thanksgiving break! We are truly thankful for our vibrant Roy DeShane community. We’ve had such amazing parent participation in our school this year. Thank you to all the dads who have volunteered for Big DOGS, all the parent volunteers for Picture Day and Vision and Hearing, and the many parents who came to school to be Mystery Readers!
CCSD93 parents: your child’s 1st trimester report card is now posted on TeacherEase. Access it through the mobile app or on a web browser by selecting Academics - Report Cards.
